I’ve been a writer for as long as I can remember. Back in high school, I was tapping out angsty vampire stories on a manual typewriter and secretly scribbling X-Files fan fiction in a coil-bound notebook during math class. So analog. And so formative.

In a past life, I spent over 20 years as a communications professional, where stories were at the heart of everything. Today, in addition to building my dream business of helping writers succeed, I’m working toward finishing my own YA fantasy novel.

As a ravenous reader, I love stories that go deep–into character, theme, setting, and emotion. I bring that same depth of intention and curiosity to the writers I support.

I also know how easy it is to lose focus on a story and let the doubts creep in: Will anyone care? Is this good enough? How will my story stand out in such a crowded publishing world? I feel it too.
